“Naftalan Rehabilitation Center” PLE

In the 25-bed Naftalan Rehabilitation Center, both medical rehabilitation and psychological assistance were provided to more than 80 war participants during the Patriotic War. After the war, the Naftalan Rehabilitation Center provided medical rehabilitation and psychological support services for the families of veterans and martyrs, children suffering from the war, as well as the residents of Naftalan, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
In general, 10 veterans who applied to the Center in the post-war period recovered their health here. Currently, due to the pandemic, in accordance with the rules of the special quarantine regime applied in our country, patients are admitted to the Center in a limited number – 12-13 people at a time. It is possible to receive effective treatment and restore health under the supervision of professional doctors serving in the center. For this, the Center is equipped with devices and equipment that are considered the latest achievements of medical technology. At the Naftalan Rehabilitation Center, it is also possible for patients to take a Naftalan oil bath, which is considered a unique treatment tool in the world. However, since the Naftalan oil bath is considered a serious procedure, patients undergo appropriate medical examination beforehand. Naftalan oil bath is applied to patients who have no contraindications during the examination. As the Naftalan Rehabilitation Center establishes its activities at the level of modern requirements, a positive result is recorded in the health of every patient who applies here. People with disabilities who are referred or applied to the center are mainly provided with rehabilitation, i.e. function restoration services, rather than drug treatment. Rehabilitation of locomotor, bone, joint, muscular system, paralysis and nerve patients is also successfully carried out in the center. In general, the Naftalan Rehabilitation Center provides medical rehabilitation and psychological assistance twice a year to every citizen whose disability is confirmed and whose treatment is possible here.
